With over
20 years of nursing experience, Connie has a comprehensive background in the healthcare field. Since her move to New Mexico in 1996 she has held a
variety of positions at UNM Hospital such as Unit Director of the General
Medicine Unit, clinical nursing faculty for the College of Nursing, and
co-primary investigator for a substance abuse intervention project as
related to inpatient use. Connie’s current role as a Program Administrator
for Project ECHO allows her to support training needs of partner clinics
throughout New Mexico. She finds this role extremely rewarding and is
dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of New Mexicans. Connie is the
proud parent to five children ranging in age from 2-30. She considers
herself to be a professional parent accredited by the children she is
raising. In her spare time she can be found at the soccer field, performing
arts studio, or karate gym supporting her family.
