Dr. Luis B. Curet is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of OB/GYN where he was director of the Division of Maternal Medicine and Vice Chairman of the Department from 1988 to 2003 when he retired. He has continued to work part time in the Department of OB/GYN primarily in the Diabetes in Pregnancy program. For the past year he has been working with the ECHO program developing a High Risk Ob Telemedicine clinic. He is chairman of District 8 of the American College of Obstetricians-Gynecologists (ACOG) and serves as consultant to ACOG for post graduate educational programs in OB/GYN in Latin America.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, baseball and spending time with his grandchildren.
