Dr. Steven Jenkusky is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry with the UNM School of Medicine, who serves as one of the behavioral health consultants to the ECHO project. He also serves as the medical director for outpatient and psychiatric emergency services for the UNM Psychiatric Center. His profession experience includes providing adult psychiatric care in rural New Mexico (Gallup), New Hampshire and Maine, emergency psychiatry, substance abuse treatment, assertive community treatment and corrections psychiatry. In his spare time, he enjoys going lizard hunting in the desert with his son, catch and release, coaching kindergarten-level soccer, nature watching and fly fishing.
