Project ECHO: An Effective Means of Increasing Palliative Care Capacity

AJMC – Project ECHO: An Effective Means of Increasing Palliative Care Capacity

The ECHO Institute, together with 7 ECHO replicating partners, has just published an article featured on the cover of Evidence Based Oncology that highlights the work of those around the world who are implementing the ECHO model to address the knowledge gap that underlies the integrated palliative care crisis. Each partner provides a brief description and narrative highlighting how the ECHO model is being implemented for palliative care and outlining the larger role that the ECHO model could play in training providers to overcome the shortage of trained providers for palliative care. The writing of this article was supported by the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation grant for ECHO Cancer and many other funding sources. If you are interested in learning more about the replication of the ECHO model for palliative care or cancer more broadly, please contact Lucca Cirolia
