  • Beginning March 18, Zambia Ministry of Health: incorporating COVID-19 education into their regular HIV teleECHO Sessions. The first session provided an overview of the epidemiology, screening and testing, management, containment, and preparedness for more than 60 spokes.
  • Infection Control Africa Network (ICAN) in South Africa: training on COVID-19 for existing ICAN ECHO network
  • Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene Côte d'Ivoire: HIV focused ECHO is using their network to support COVID-19 training

  • March 31, Children’s Health Queensland Paediatric Persistent Pain ECHO network in Australia: adapting service delivery in response to COVID-19
  • March 27, Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Australia: special COVID-19 meeting.
  • March 21, ECHO India, AIIMS, and Ministry of Health: ECHO Program on ventilator support preparedness for COVID-1919 patients. Reached 1000 participant sites.
  • March 19, Queensland University in Australia: collaborative of Australian ECHO programs to discuss how collectively they can respond to COVID-19 and support the government’s efforts
  • March 19, GMER: Epidemic preparedness session
  • March 16, ECHO India in conjunction with SDCT Gujarat: used ECHO network on TB to train healthcare workers on COVID-19
  • February 2, the National Children’s Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam: special COVID-19 education and training teleECHO session, connected more than 12,000 health care workers in 250-plus hospitals in northern Vietnam as part of COVID-19 preparedness efforts

  • Beginning April 17, Children’s Health Queensland in partnership with Brisbane North Primary Health Network: COVID-19 program for general practitioners and other providers working in residential aged-care facilities, weekly
  • April 4 through April 28, D-Rev in India: Ventilator Training for Neonatologists and Pediatricians. More than 500 participants in program.
  • Beginning April 8, Assist International: COVID-19 Lecture Series, weekly on Wednesday. Khmer and Vietnamese interpretation provided.
  • Beginning March 31, Children’s Health Queensland in partnership with Brisbane North Primary Health Network: COVID-19 for general practitioners, weekly
  • Beginning in February: Vietnam National Lung Hospital: COVID-19 training for physicians and nurse practitioners. ECHO sessions reach more than 70 spokes per session.
  • ECHO India: 513 COVID-19 ECHO sessions have been conducted, focusing on a variety of areas (e.g. ventilator management, mental health, etc.). More than 190,000 spokes have been trained.
  • Piramal Swasthya Management & Research Institute in India: COVID-19 preparedness (7 teleECHO sessions conducted, 2 planned)
  • National Institute for Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases and state TB ECHO programs in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, India: one teleECHO session on COVID-19 each, more sessions planned
